The Jean Hailes for Women's Health Postdoctoral Travel Fellowships were established in 2018 as an initiative for Jean Hailes to engage with the research community, establishing new, and strengthening existing, collaborations with researchers focused on women's health across Australia.
This program will support research in up to 15 university, research institute and hospital departments per year, and connect our public health information output directly with relevant research, wherever it is being conducted.
The fellowships provide funds to the award holder to travel to a major overseas conference to present their research and to visit cognate researchers / laboratories / research institutions to form collaborations / enhance collaborations or learn new research techniques / methods.
The health information available through our website and publications, for the general public and health professionals, will benefit through input, advice and review of our content by the fellows and their department heads. This ensures our content is up-to-date and well referenced.

We currently co-sponsor two travel fellowships with the Heart Foundation for research into cardiovascular disease in women. We invite partners to co-fund our Fellowships in their area of interest.
