Consultant gynaecologists, endocrinologists (hormone specialists) and dermatologists are doctors who have trained to become specialists in their respective fields. All are Fellows of their respective Royal Australian College.

Many of our clinicians are internationally renowned, high profile experts in their respective fields, having published articles in medical journals, and/or written books on women's health. Many are involved in the education of medical students and doctors in the community, and have initiated ground breaking research into specific women's health issues.

The Jean Hailes Medical Clinics provides special facilities to cater for such procedures as insertion of hormone implants, insertion of IUDs, Cervical Screening Test and Thin Prep tests (all of which are forwarded to the Pap Test Registry) implanon insertion and colposcopy. Our colposcopy clinic provides a timely service for women after an abnormal pap/CST smear result. Our experienced and accredited gynaecologist provides colposcopies and vaginal/cervical biopsies in a comfortable clinic environment and is assisted by our practice nurse.
