Jean Hailes clinics offer appointments with a range of women's health professionals. You don’t need a referral to see a women’s health GP.
The Jean Hailes Clinics in both Clayton and East Melbourne are open for all in-person and telehealth appointments.
Please note we are not an accredited vaccine centre, and therefore cannot administer the COVID-19 vaccine.
With the COVID-19 pandemic ongoing we are continuing to offer telehealth consultations to all women, whether you are in local, rural, remote or regional areas of Australia. Telehealth is where you have a consultation with your clinician via video conference on your phone or computer, or talk to your clinician on the phone. Telehealth enables women to access Jean Hailes women's health staff and specialists via video consultations. For more information on how telehealth works, please read the attached link.
The health and wellbeing of the community is very important to Jean Hailes and we have strict practices in place in our clinics. If you have any symptoms relating to COVID-19 we ask that you quarantine at home and call us to talk about your health needs.
A Jean Hailes receptionist will arrange a booking for you, for either a standard face-to-face consultation or a telehealth consultation. Fees remain unchanged from prior practice.
You will need a referral from a GP to our specialists, such as gynaecologists or endocrinologists.
To make an appointment call us on 03 9562 7555.
You will be sent an SMS reminder five working days and one day before your appointment. Please call or email the clinic at least 48 hours before your appointment if you are unable to attend.
Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will result in a cancellation/nonattendance fee of $100.
